As a playwright, I’m interested in telling stories that ask fantastically large questions, that allow audiences to watch real humans attempt the impossible and fail or succeed alongside them. I write plays that interrogate our American present, sometimes using the spotlight of our American past. In my plays, there is always room for the miraculous.
