With over a decade of experience in live entertainment, Ravenscroft's performance history gives her a unique perspective as a playwright; her writing leans dramatic and experimental. Ravenscroft tends to focus on work tackling intersectional ideas of identity and what it means to be an American. Ravenscroft's time living in Chicago and London have combined with her D.C. nativity provide her a real connection to urban modern living in the 21st century, as well as exposure to progressive ideas and artistic practices-- all of which she explores in her writing.
