Because I believe that the role of stories is to expand people’s horizons or consider the perspective of someone different from themselves, I try to broaden characters to break stereotyped views. In making my work accessible to the maximum number of people, my practice is to make the plays as entertaining as possible. With influences from Howard Hawks' dialogue to the Grimm Brothers, my work is fast talking and often female-centred.
