"We don't take anything with us. We only leave what we give." That's my mantra. I create with my full mind/body/spirit. I write with the dirt from under my fingernails. I love to write multi-generational, multi-cultural dark comedies that point to the majestic elephant in the room. I write from the intersection of my existence and experience of this brown body, woman and non-binary spirit, immigrant and first-generation life, with the blood and history of my ancestors. I am dedicated to creating art with folks who believe we do not need to sacrifice our humanity to create art.
