As an artist, I've always strived to push creation. I want people to read/see my work and be challenged with perspectives and thoughts they haven’t been faced with before; really making the viewer feel a part of the show, as if they could be sweating the same beads as the characters. I believe in theatre that mimics authentic life (realistic or fictitious) and lacks censorship, as I believe this is how truthful stories are best told. I believe there are no boundaries of what theatre can be; whether escapism theatre or poignant pieces, I think there is something to learn or takeaway from any show, and I aspire to make the audience think on what they can get out of any of piece, whether dramas, comedies, or musicals.
