I believe as an up and coming playwright it is crucial to tell stories of the world around us and the reality of the situations we don't like to face or talk about. In each work that I create I always manage to pose the audience with political/social questions that have them thinking of what we could do better within the scope of the world we are living in. My plays are very character driven with an emphasis on LGBTQ women of color who feel they have been silenced from society and unable to authentically be themselves.
