I am a multidisciplinary artist who seeks to explore and define interpersonal relationships, love, and more with my art. I specifically want to tell stories that are inspired by my hometown of Lexington, Virginia. There is such a rich tapestry of history and culture in the area, and my personal connections draw me to explore the themes of the lives I’ve had and seen.

I find inspiration in watching the people around me and paying close attention to the way we interact with each other. Just existing as a member of the public provides such boundless opportunities to explore human behavior and social interactions. Some of my greatest artistic influences include the works of Tony Kushner, David Fincher, William Shakespeare, Paula Vogel, and Sam Shepard. I am most fascinated by the exploration and analysis of violence, love, resentment, revenge, greed, morality, and Americanness in these works, and endeavor to bring my own point of view and my own characters to this canon.
