Kleo James Ryan is a Texas-based playwright and performer. Her works have been featured in publications, staged readings, and theatre festivals. Her short play, "Last Dance" was nominated for five B. Iden Payne Awards, including Outstanding Original Short Script and Outstanding Production of a Short Play. Kleo is heavily inspired by character-driven cinema and gothic literature, exploring themes of isolation, regret, and the desperate desire for human connection -- oh, this is why her comedy career didn't pan out! Now it makes sense.
