Kitt Lavoie writes full-length plays about people of extraordinary talent confronting circumstances where that talent may not be enough. He writes short plays about people who desperately want a relationship (romantic, work, friendship, etc) to work in moments where they are forced to reckon with the fact that it may be unsalvageable. All of his plays are about fundamentally moral people who find themselves in intractable conflict with each other.
