I've been a storyteller as long as I can remember, but it's my time acting in greater Boston that has inspired me to delve into playwriting. Over the course of many years, as an actor, it was rare for me to not be the only Asian in the room. Changing that ratio has required intention about the work I do as an actor, as well as creating that work as a writer — and providing opportunities for my community while also highlighting stories that rarely make it to stage.
