My creative influences are a wide smattering of traditional theatre and film as well as more experimental artists in other genres. I have always been drawn to the dusty golden hue of classic film and theatre from mid century and before. Classic Hollywood films of the 30s and 40s are of particular interest to me. Theatrically, I am very influenced by Neil Simon, Tennessee Williams and Edward Albee. Eugene O’Neil, of course, whom I studied endlessly in college. Lesser known as a playwright, Paddy Chayefsky is also a big inspiration to me.
