Artistic Statement

I'm drawn to characters who see patterns others miss, who have solutions nobody wants to hear, and who struggle to be taken seriously until it's almost too late. I write about the friction between evidence and instinct, between what we know intellectually and what we can accept emotionally -- those blind spots that sometimes reveal themselves too late (but hopefully, right on time). My work blends realism and allegory to explore moments of transition between belief and doubt, power and empathy, hope and failure, and the perseverance it takes to move forward in an uncertain world.
