Plays

  • In The Closet
The show takes place inside a large metaphorical closet. Three gay men, each struggling with their own reasons for retreating back into the closet, are soon joined by JOHN, who runs into the closet just after his first gay sexual encounter. The four men explore the varied reasons one might re-closet oneself in this cross-generational look at going back into the closet.
  • The Other Side
The show takes place inside a concentration camp disrobing room. Victor, a sonderkommando who "welcomes" jews into the camps, comes across his cousin, Stella, who has just arrived and is selected to be killed. The inspiration for this story is based on a true story.

SAFE is a great piece about homophobia and bullying, leading up to a wonderful and haunting climax that is both theatrical and dialogue-driven. SAFE would be a great pick for a queer festival or for Pride Month.
