Gabrielle Sinclair

Gabrielle Sinclair is an award-winning playwright whose work has been developed and performed internationally and across the country. Plays include: The Resolute: All Hands In (the Hewitt School in NYC, developed at The Wyoming Theatre Festival, Jane Chambers award finalist), Alcestis (UGA mainstage), This Little Light (theatre for the very young piece at ATHICA in Athens, GA), The Bride Project (Love Me Gender Festival, Vienna), Showing (Ingram New Works Lab), Telling the Bees: The Just Now (Winner, Georgia Theatre Conference One-Act Play Competition), and Ghost Notes (North Carolina New Play Prize). A reimagining of Aeschylus's partially lost tragedy, in which the chorus of the story, made of 50 sisters, all never-brides and water nymphs, literally runs away.
