  • Poop, a one minute play for radio
    20 Jun. 2022
Sometimes one has the urge to go read a play with a ridiculous yet spot on title. This silly play obviously came out in one push. This is a delightful romp in the grass, just watch your step
  • Gone Fishing Gone

A beautifully written play about a mother and son dealing with their shared loss. Michele Miller exquisitely captures their relationship. I love how the mother, who has tried so hard to keep a tradition, learns from her son that there's room for new traditions.
  • PRESENCE
    9 Mar. 2022
So many of us are addicted to our phones, and the fear of missing out is real. This play definitely drives that home. Presence is on point and truthful. I appreciate Adam Richter's personification of the notifications and how he reveals the cause of Reggie's obsession.
  • TWENTY DAYS LATER
    4 Mar. 2022
This is not at all what one would expect from a groundhog. Sure they've received a lot of undeserving attention. And sure they hold the fate of the world in their grubby little paws. But sheesh! Adam Richter has written a brilliant, unexpected, and hilarious new twist on this yearly ritual, and I'm all for it!
  • MARTY SAVES HUMANITY

Such a clever premise! Now it all makes sense! I love how Adam Richter captured the essence of 1980s radio personalities. So fun! And god bless Dolly!
  • The Comfort Zone
    13 Dec. 2021
Just when you think you're in The Comfort Zone, you very much are not, in the most wonderful, quirky, and yes, violent way possible. This play is not at all what you, or anyone would ever expect, which is what I love about this. Daniel Prillaman is the Quentin Tarantino of theatre.
  • The Last Pub in Burtonsville, NY
    13 Dec. 2021
A closing of a bar and crossroads in their lives bring two unlikely characters together, who are willing to go to extremes to express their emotions. DC Cathro certainly has a way of creating vivid and dynamic characters, and The Last Pub in Burtonsville, NY is no exception. If you want to include a unique Christmas play in your repertoire, this is the one.
  • BOXING DAY, 1835
    13 Dec. 2021
A beautiful portrait of a working-class family and reconciliation, Monica Cross captured the essence of two young sisters, the hardship they endured, and the sacrifices they made through exquisite dialogue. This play would be a gift to any actor and would be perfect for a Christmas festival and/or college presentation.
  • A Doctor's Visit
    9 Aug. 2021
There is no type of play I enjoy more than to be a fly on the wall from a piece of history. Yes, we may or may not be aware of the events, people, and dates, but what was said in private is left to the imagination. And Mark Loewenstern's imagination is thoroughly on point. It is thrilling to be able to look back with a 21st century perspective and reflect. This play deserves all the accolades!
  • Suicide Hotline
    9 Aug. 2021
There are truly no coincidences, at least not in the world of this play. Kelly McBurnette-Andronicos created a play with wit, comedic timing, and charm. I love that two ordinary characters, when put together create an extraordinary situation. And the twist at the end is perfection.
