What a fine piece of work. Hageman beautifully explores the parent/child relationship with witty dialogue that keeps you entertained and then slaps you across the face with its codependent realities. The honest simplicity and reality of it all is exquisite. Would love to see this on its feet.

oh my gawd!!! What fun. The CHAOS and ANARCHY must continue!!!! Definitely a MUST for any ZOOMing theatres. Hageman has done a great service to all of us aching for another bite while still in lock down. Fine, fine work. And funny as hell.

What a fun romp through Hamlet with shades of Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You. Gary Arms takes us through a tour deforce of the “greatest of play ever written”. Arms has certainly done his homework here and miraculously retells us the tale utilizing 6 charming characters (all women by the way). I hated to see the play end. Jumps off the page, though I would love to see this live.

What seems want to be a story about greed, legal loopholes and two unscrupulous generations taking advantage of each other turns out to be a valentine to unconditional love. I don’t want to say more because I fear I’ve already given too much away. Ms. Kras’s pace and style crackle as we hunker down to a battle of wits and schemes on a midwest checkerboard as the clock is ticking and time is running out. I thoroughly enjoyed this play and look forward to seeing it on the stage.

I enjoyed the simplicity and the honesty of the work. Good redirection and quiet interplay. From the start Weaver had me thinking this was one thing then it wasn't then it was again but different then it couldn't be and that was all such a nice ride. Very proper, appropriate and layered. A fine and subtle piece of work all in ten minutes.

A MUST read. Brilliantly written with scope and depth. From the opening moment we are subjected to the realities that this is not just happening "then" but the conditions continue on to this day. Silence is the enemy and madness is the result. Carolyn has brought forth a piece of history, yes; with a large cast, yes; but DO NOT let that stop you. Like Miller's the Crucible she sheds a light on our present by cloaking our current conditions in the past. The dialogue is superb and the characters fascinating. The ode to King Lear is brilliant. Brava!!
