Turnage does an amazing job with this memorable, timeless, short play. You quickly get drawn into the rhythmic language of this piece and feel like you're right there with the characters as the powerful subject matter is further unpacked. Smartly written with a bold approach.

The play starts out with a truly comedic scenario but as we peel away the layers we find something much more intimate and painful between these characters. Kudos to Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn for crafting such well-rounded characters and exploring them in a exceptionally unique way.

This is an incredibly meaningful journey through time and a life. I want to grab this play and hold it close to my heart; Rinkel has truly created something so deeply beautiful with "My Life Has Been a Preparation" that it transcends the page.

Imbued with such wisdom and emotional weight, this is one of my favorite ten-minute plays I have EVER read.

Ah, the untouched book on the shelf - usually poetry, such is the case in O'Grady's sharp-witted short play. A fun play where two books discuss their place in the world and the legacy they'll leave behind. Also, a good reminder that all forms of literature are to be valued!

If only corruption could be so easily tackled by transforming all the immoral into ant eaters! Guyton's monologue "The Anteater" is cute, funny, and the perfect amount of crazy. Guaranteed to get some big laughs in an audience.

Every line of Speckman's powerful play hits with a swift and enjoyable impact. The interaction and imagery these characters paint is so delightful to experience. This piece will linger in your mind long after reading.
  • Being Wendy Wasserstein (formerly The Wendy Chronicles)

This is a fantastic love letter to Wendy Wasserstein and the amazing story that was her life. The play feels like an open-dialogue between you and Wasserstein - Karen Fix Curry has done a remarkable job of capturing this distinctive voice in theatre. Read this if you're a fan of theatre and read this if you're especially a fan of Wasserstein.
  • And Try NOT To Enjoy Your Stay

"And Try NOT To Enjoy Your Stay" is a super hilarious play interwoven with wisecracks and wit. This would be a blast on stage and Busser has left a lot of room for the actors to improvise.

Osmundsen has gifted us a comedic firework of a show! At its core though, there's an intimate message here about relationships and setting up expectations. This feels like such an honest snapshot of a discussion between significant others. Perfect for college play festivals.
  • Three Ladybugs

I love theatre that speaks from a unique perspective and presents an existing idea to us in an abstract way so we have a new view on it. Meagher's "Three Ladybugs" definitely accomplishes this, while also being profound, charming, and witty. This piece is a conversation about our belief systems, our principles, our universal significance, and the size of the role we play in our worlds.
