I am such a sucker for plays that are able to successfully travel their audience through time. It reminded me so much of Paula Vogel's play "The Long Christmas Ride Home" in all the best ways. Minigan is somehow able to make the time shifts poignant, yet seamless. Minigan's use of language is also something to be awed at, specifically Carlo. He begins the play as a six year old and ends the play at the ripe young age of 70 his speech transforming with him through every time shift. What an excellent play worthy of many productions!

Wow. I cannot praise this piece enough. Perfectly paced and Each character is so beautifully flawed in their own ways. A tension and truth filled play worth the read and worth more productions! Would LOVE to see it!

I devoured this play. Such a beautiful exploration of adolescence, friendship and love. The shocking ending will stay with me for a very, very long time.

  • Cam Torres: not Jenny

This play reminds you of all the best and worst things about being a sibling. It is as hilarious as it is dark and explores the very real jealousy and bitterness that forms when there is a sibling favorite.

The amount of times I have witnessed encounters like this, or been a part of them showcases how realistic this play is, but Pynn takes that realism and adds a dash of dream, of movement and of hope and turns something that is often so cynical (such as our commutes) and into something truly beautiful.

An absolute blast. I personally love the balance between slang and verse taken from the actually text. Very clever and a truly fun piece! Would love to see it performed!
