THE REAL ME is about identity, secrets, and lies. A woman in her 50s discovers she was adopted. She is not who she thought she was, and is now free to become who she thinks she is. Or so she thinks.

Joshua Brand is a writer, producer, and director best known for co-creating St. Elsewhere, I'll Fly Away and Northern Exposure. His plays Babyface and Grunts were produced in Los Angeles and New York. His play The Real Me was a 2012 finalist at the O'Neill Playwrights Conference. In 2013 he received the Paddy Chayefsky Lifetime Achievement Award from the Writer's Guild of America.
