TG (Tanya) Seale’s plays have been presented and produced in Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, and Vermont.

Her fiction has appeared in Pitkin Review and Midwestern Gothic, and her fiction, nonfiction, and poems for very young readers have appeared in Highlights, Humpty Dumpty, Hopscotch, Spider, Fun For Kidz, and more.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English/Creative Writing and magna cum laude honors from Webster University with double minors in Theatre and Scriptwriting, and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing from Goddard College. She studied playwriting with Deborah Brevoort, Kyle Bass, Rogelio Martinez, Susan Kim, and Gary Garrison, and screenwriting with David L. Paterson.

TG has developed and taught scriptwriting, playwriting, and creative writing courses, working with St. Louis Writers Workshop, Aberdeen Heights Senior Living Community, and South City Open Studio and Gallery, all in the St. Louis, MO metropolitan area. She was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Webster University, teaching professional writing to students at Webster’s Tashkent, Uzbekistan campus.

TG served for four years as a Contributing Editor at River Styx, a multicultural literary and arts magazine, and for three years as a Contributing Editor and Reviewer at BroadwayWorld.

She is a former member critic of The St. Louis Theatre Circle and is a member of Dramatists Guild of America, National New Play Network, Playwrights’ Center, Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and Theatre Communications Group.

Homesick is a full-length dramedy about recent empty nesters, Rick and Karen, and their three grown children, all of whom are experiencing life crises. When it comes to light that Karen is leaving Rick after 35 years of what appeared to be a happy marriage, past secrets and present wounds come to light as issues of commitment, infidelity, parenting skills, family bonds, and parent/child boundaries collide to...

Homesick is a full-length dramedy about recent empty nesters, Rick and Karen, and their three grown children, all of whom are experiencing life crises. When it comes to light that Karen is leaving Rick after 35 years of what appeared to be a happy marriage, past secrets and present wounds come to light as issues of commitment, infidelity, parenting skills, family bonds, and parent/child boundaries collide to cast a shadow on the family's new, uncertain future. This play, a subtle nod to Ibsen, breaks the fourth wall to utilize the audience as Karen's marriage therapist.
