Artistic Statement

My work takes a critical and sometimes humorous view of social and cultural constructs—particularly where girls and women are concerned—by magnifying, questioning, and often disrupting the power dynamics in relationships. I feel community with those who find stories in the things we leave behind, beauty among the damaged clutter, and fascination in the marks we leave on one another’s hearts.
