  • Brian C Petti: The Intervention Will Be Televised

I'm on a bill with this playwright at the AIFF 2025 virtual festival. I didn't see her festival plays here, so I thought I'd read a random one. Very clever dialogue, funny, and timely. Costa has a strong voice.

  • Brian C Petti: Lovers and Survivors

I'm on a bill with this play at the AIFF 2025 virtual festival, so I figured I'd give it a watch. An affecting, ambitious take on the progress of a lifetime relationship.

  • Brian C Petti: GROWTH IN ISOLATION

I'm on a bill with this play at AIFF 2025 virtual festival, so I figured I'd give it a watch. What a strange, inventive way to approach a separation story. Anyone who has "grown apart" (or lived through 2020!) will relate.

  • Brian C Petti: Gub Gub, Godmother, Gaslight

I'm on a bill with this play on the AIFF 2025 virtual festival, so I figured I'd give this a watch. Funny, twisted, feminist revision of Cinderella. The guard breaking is insane!

  • Brian C Petti: Bubba and Krystyl are Unraveling the Fabric of Reality and Playing with It Like a Ball of String (and we’re all kinda glad they are)

I am on a bill with this play at the AIFF 2025 Virtual Festival, so I decided to give it a watch. Funny, interesting turning of a fairy tale on its head.

  • Brian C Petti: GIVEN: A WAY (10MP)

I'm on a bill with this play in August, so I thought I'd give it a read. There's a lot of history between daughter and estranged father queezed into ten minutes. Interesting how the father's needs threaten to dictate terms until a satisfying ending switch. Looking forward to catching this in CT!

  • Brian C Petti: Something is Rotting on the Stage of Glenmark

I'm on a bill with this play in August, so I thought I'd give it a read. Poor Vincent is in way over his head, and hopelessly ignorant of the theater he loves. His best bet is to find a more "permanent" role! Some fun interaction between the quote-spouting Professor and the wanna-be ingenue. Hope I get a chance to catch this in CT!

  • Brian C Petti: FOR THE RECORD...

I'm on a bill with this play in August, so I figured I'd give it a read. It's a very tender depiction of a moment between an estranged father and son. Like a good short drama, it makes you think about what comes before and after the event of the play. Looking forward to catching it in CT.

  • Brian C Petti: In Like Company

I'm on a bill with this play in August, so I figured I'd check it out. Dark! It sets you up with a tried and true perilous set up, and then takes you on a twisty ride through what you think you expect. Well done! Hope to catch it in CT.

  • Brian C Petti: Acting on Impulse

I'm on a bill with this play in August, so I thought I'd check it out. What a nightmare for the poor "guy in the middle!" Lots of fun physical comedy to play. Looking forward to catching it in CT. And hey, my son just transferred to SUNY New Paltz!
