Fun piece for teens to play, a nice introduction to absurdist theatre, and a compelling metaphor of not fitting in, not knowing how to "act" at a new school.

What a treat; a very silly magical situation treated with thought and care. Hilarious and delightful.
  • Massage Envy
    27 Apr. 2021
A very amusing play about a guy who can't shut up about getting a happy ending and his wife's infidelity during his massage with the straight masseur who usually massages his wife. Goes in quite unexpected directions.
  • The Wedded Bachelors Of Second Garrote
    5 Apr. 2021
An absolutely charming story of two male lovers following their lives as they face new frontiers in California during the Gold Rush, and after. Based on true historical events, the piece is well-researched while never seeming too bookish. The main characters are noble and making their way in a harsh world as best they can. Even the characters who only appear as voices are well-observed and well-rounded. Highly recommended.
  • The Asylum of Bridesmaids

A funny sketch examining Bridesmaids in a bar as if it's a narrated nature documentary. Very cute.
  • The Garden of Edhen
    5 Apr. 2021
A spooky and heavily atmospheric tale of an interracial couple meeting with a mystical evil funeral director, who has devious plans for the body of their dead son. Surreal and creepy.
  • Nonsense and Beauty

A touching and simple story about E.M. Forster and the love of his life, kept under wraps because of society's strictures against homosexuality. Lovely, with excellent roles for actors.
  • THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING
    27 Mar. 2021
A lovely little two-hander about people carrying the last hope for the future of humanity out into space to seed in a new world, and whether or not they owe a responsibility to that potential over their own happiness. Touching and smart sci-fi.
  • The Slightly Exaggerated True Story of "Civic Virtue"
    11 Feb. 2021
A fascinating and well-told true-life story of a maligned piece of public art and it's ongoing history.
  • Never No More

A charming piece, anchored in the here-and-now, but full of magic. Easy to do over Zoom.
