She has an excellent feel for the absurdity of the human condition, and the lengths we will go to please the ones we love...or at least take the edge off their exasperation at our poor decisions.     I just had the pleasure of seeing this play and meeting Jacquelyn last weekend! Given the subject matter, an ideal play for any kind of festival looking for something related to Halloween and/or horror. Who knew that demons had inner demons?

    This is an outstanding idea and well-executed. How good an idea is it? So good that I want to use it myself. But I won't. Probably. But to me the hallmark of any good play is the immediate reaction of "Damn, I wish I had thought of that!" And yes, I wish I had thought of this...

    This is a very funny and very poignant look at two couples who reach for a little bit more than they have, with the risk/reward of getting what they really want or losing what they have grown accustomed to. An insightful and cautionary tale of getting what you wish for.
