Jeannene has worked at the intersection of arts, community-building and social justice in Colorado for more than 30 years. She is currently the Managing Director of Curious Theatre Company. She served the Town of Parker for 19 years, beginning as Cultural Director and eventually being promoted to City Manager where she led the creation of the $21.8 million Parker Arts, Cultural and Events (PACE) Center, a community-based arts facility. Jeannene has also worked as the Development Director at Creative Strategies for Change, Director of Strategic Initiatives and Community Partnerships for the Colorado Symphony, Operations Director for the Lone Tree Arts Center, and Administrator for the Colorado Creative Industries Change Leader Program. In addition to her leadership and administration roles, Jeannene works artistically as a creative producer, playwright, deviser and theatre maker with her company mOOn fOOd productions. She holds a BA in theatre arts and an MA in arts administration.
