  • Evan Baughfman: Immersion Therapy

A hilarious gift of a play, featuring a clown, a woman with coulrophobia, and jaw-dropping revelations! Now available for your listening pleasure (with delightful sound production) on the Gather by the Ghost Light podcast!

  • Evan Baughfman: At the Gates of the Animal Kingdom

I won't spoil the discovery of what is actually going on in this narrative, but it's a thought-provoking treat! I love plays that feature anthropomorphic characters (especially ones written by Matthew Weaver), and this is a pretty awesome script! All the more impressive that it was written in such a short amount of time!

  • Evan Baughfman: God Learns of the Death of Harambe, 2016 (colorized)

The title drew me in, and the scene didn’t disappoint. A hilarious skewering of the human race! A depiction of God that I won’t soon forget!

  • Evan Baughfman: The Graveyard Shift Bites

This horror-comedy hits the spot, just like good fast food! It has some gore, which I think would be a lot of fun to see up on stage! Such imagery might make some other folks queasy, however. Just like bad fast food. This script would be a great addition to a night of spooky shorts. For me, this is another John Busser piece worth the price of admission. (Fries cost extra, though.)

  • Evan Baughfman: A Primitive Species

A sci-fi script full of interesting ideas! I really enjoyed the various plot (and character) twists!

  • Evan Baughfman: The Penance - 10 Minute Play

A confessional, a priest, a sinner… and so much more! A tense (and surprising) couple of final pages!

  • Evan Baughfman: The B Is For Bullsh!t

I loved the dialogue in this play, the questions asked and addressed! Complicated relationships and believable character growth! An excellent script, published through Next Stage Press!

  • Evan Baughfman: Juliet Wakes Up - one-act

A very funny, very clever reimagining of the ending to “R & J,” one where Juliet takes a stab at (and a stand for) a brighter future for herself!

  • Evan Baughfman: The Wrinkle Ranch (from the THE WRINKLE RANCH AND OTHER PLAYS ABOUT GROWING OLD collection)

A vibrant and uproarious piece! Would be great fun for all actors involved! This play closes out Debra Cole’s awesome short play collection, published through Next Stage Press. Her twenty collected scripts vary in tone, genre, and theme, but all entertain and enlighten in their own ways!

  • Evan Baughfman: OKComputer

An absorbing sequel-of-sorts to George Orwell's novel, '1984,' this script updates a classic dystopian setting with biting commentary on dating in the digital age! A great sci-fi read!
