When you think you might have it all figured out, Vintner keeps you guessing until the very end, when he allows his well-crafted characters a chance at happiness.

As a person who's fascinated by stories of women and power, I found this a treat. The reversal of the power roles is sharp and striking. This play makes it obvious how limited our usual vision is. It's timely and fun.

This brilliant play takes actual testimony and whirls it in with the creativity of using a superhero to let power become a theatrical force. It's moving and eye-opening, and funny enough that no one will feel like it's the history lesson that it is.

This play is full of laughs, including having a character with one of the best idiosyncratic speech patterns. I can imagine an actor having a blast with that. It also ends with a perfect play on words!

This is a magical play with some actual magic and lots of theater magic. I was transported to a mysterious place and I know many of the images conjured by the playwright will stay with me for a long time. Beautifully crafted and poignant with a touch of humor.

There are echoes of issues that are not directly addressed, such as male/female power, because the questions at the core of the play reverberate in many directions. It is taut and artfully written.
