Amelio García (he/they) is a transmasc actor and playwright originally from El Salvador. Amelio García (he/they) is a transmasc actor and playwright originally from El Salvador. He is a Fulbright Scholar and graduated with a M.A. in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. They hold double degrees in Theatre and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Seattle University. As an actor, he’s worked with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Playwrights Realm, Milwaukee Rep, Seattle Rep, and upstart crow collective, as well as numerous other theater companies in his hometown of Seattle. As a playwright, Amelio's work has been featured at Seattle Shakespeare Company with his queer retelling of Cymbeline.
