I love the twist ending-- it really got me! The build up to it was nice. I enjoyed being introduced to a classic literary tale that I had never encountered before.

Set in a world that is set perhaps not too far off in the distant future, readers and audiences alike can connect to this short play about relationships, power struggles, and the control the government can (or might) be able to exert on ordinary people's every day lives. I connected with Lara's high strung nature and loved how chaotic she became once she revealed her true self to Donny.

The story of this play tells an all too common one in today's society where transgender people and their rights have become over sensationalized news stories and something of which to be afraid of. An important piece showing one family's stand to protect their transgender child and have them recognized in a world (and family) that doesn't want to.

This was a delight! The absurdity of the rich was brought to new levels in this witty short pieces. I loved the deviousness of the main character and how his plot came to fruition-- only not benefitting himself. And I loved revisiting character's from other plays by McGregor.

This play serves as a reminder of how situations can be twisted to get out of hand in high hilarity, while highlighting the stark differences of how people can be treated as second class citizens. It makes you laugh while reinforcing what you know about the United States.

I've never seen The Godfather, but I got all of the mob jokes and references. What a fun and light way to play with what is generally a much darker topic!

So funny! If only all dates could happen so transparently. Joke after joke landed, keeping me laughing. I was really impressed that the characters could be played by people of any gender too.

So funny! Somehow, the jokes punch you in the gut unexpectedly and make you laugh out loud. Even though it's fantasy, it's still about very current and timely subjects. Highly recommend!

This play is really relevant, very current, very NOW. Emotional but to the point, it reinforces the point that we are all human.

Dark humor at its finest. Loved the language turned on its head and the points it makes. Rex is able to make even the ordinary into something special.
