This is a ten-minute Lysistrata for the Tinder age, done with deft and no-holds-barred wit. Lindsay Partain nails the characters without resorting to stereotyping, and woe betide any wannabe superhero who crosses them...they know how to swipe back.

This lyrical piece takes random thoughts and puts them together in such a way that you can't help but go along with the rhythm and the jolts of the stream of consciousness.

A touching play that struck home for me because I'm seeing loved ones fade away in front of my eyes. It gave me a perspective to their world and how little things can mean so much. It's lovingly written and so well-crafted that even if it hurts to watch, you still cherish the moment.

This is a very well-crafted, deceptively simple story that gets your attention at the very start and takes you along to the end with a twist and a turn that leaves you gaping. Wow.

If I didn't know that this play was by Rand Higbee, I'd swear it was by Mel Brooks. It has the laughs, the wit, and the dry silliness that makes for a winning combination.

The two lovable characters, Joe and Mike, are perfectly crafted to bring the love of the game and the Red Sox to the stage. We see what friends will go through for their beloved team and each other and even be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to insure that love and the team survive. Dominica Plummer knocks it out of the park.

This haunting and lyrical play confronts the original sin of America -- slavery -- and brings it to a level that is devastatingly personal. This is a play about history, but it also speaks to our time, and it will not go quietly in to the gentle fiction that we have come to accept about one of our Founding Fathers. This is an important and timely play.

Can two people at opposite ends of the spectrum find some kind of common ground? With this short play by Jessie Salsbury, there is a sense of hope, albeit wary, that making amends for the past is at least a step forward. With the care and dimension of these carefully wrought characters, it's a play that can touch your heart and your mind.
  • Still Waters

Raw, gripping, and heart-wrenching view of how indescribable grief can destroy a relationship. Watching the unraveling of this marriage before our eyes is riveting.
  • Cake for Winter

This play shows how the littlest things and moments can touch us deeply. As seen through the eyes of these two people who sustain each other, a touch, a word, even a mute gesture can keep the glimmer of hope alive. Amanda L. Andrei has crafted these two characters with such delicacy and grace that even in a moment of desperation, you understand what it takes to survive... and live.
