This is a delightful gem of a play that captures the imagination and gives us a peek inside a secret world built to protect a mother from the hard, cruel world. You will really enjoy this little visit with someone who is adept at coping in her own way, and the depth of understanding that grows with the visitor is conveyed with love. Any theatre would be honored to produce it.

What could be an insult to the intelligence comes off as a delightful reflection on all of us, and the laughs are not cheap. The best part is that I want to get to know these people more and spend time with them. What a delight.

I'm a sucker for anything to do with dogs and this gem has three wonderful characters whose view of life and living is as varied as the icons they're named after. There's touching moments and lots of laughs, too. This is a perfect little ensemble piece.
