This play presents the possible circumstance where the true inspiration for "A Christmas Carol" was wrought. After falling from a ship into dark, churning waters, Charles Dickens is swept into a near death experience. Tasked to identify his "benefactor" in order to return to life, Dickens embarks on a journey.
He, like his future character, Scrooge, is confronted by spirits from his past—his devoted but long-suffering wife, Elizabeth; the formidable Charlotte Brontë, who challenges his legacy and his dismissive attitudes toward women writers; and the shadow of his own mother, whose emotional distance has haunted him since childhood. Led by these figures and others, Dickens must navigate scenes from his life—revisiting his marriage, his creative triumphs, and the wounds he inflicted on those closest to him. As the boundaries between memory and imagination blur, Dickens is forced to reckon with his failures and his loves. Only by facing the truth can Dickens hope to find redemption and return to the world he left behind.

Written as a commission for wonderful actor and comedian, Charlie Schlatter, "Dog and Cat Watch the Tonys" is an homage to animals, actors, awards and all their similarities and differences. Thanks to Kaz Matamura for all the support and love over the years!

When they come upon the legendary sword in the stone, it's Guenevere, not Arthur, who is able to pull it out. Arthur persuades Guenevere to let him take the credit and become King of England. Guenevere, regretting her mistake, spends half of her life trying to regain what rightfully belongs to her.

A young man has to decide whether he'll go to his next life with the same set of parents who raised him. (One character doubles.)

Set in the early 1990's at the beginning of the AIDS crisis, an out of work actress and her friend a gay writer/bartender navigate the love, betrayal, change and renewal of their complicated relationship.

Based on real life events, Temple Beautiful is a dietary cult in Overbrook, Philadelphia in the 1970's where the notorious cult leader marries a popular English teacher, who enlists students from an affluent high school as cult participants.One of the student has died of malnutrition while her friend, also seduced by the cult, now fights to escape.

It's 1974 and a teenage girl refuses to get up on the Balance Beam in gym. Her gym teacher has a different point of view.
