Tony Tambasco

Tony Tambasco is a director (and sometime writer) and holds an M.F.A. in directing from the American Shakespeare Center's partner program with Mary Baldwin University, where he wrote and directed his thesis production, "The Ballad of Dido," a new musical. Some of Tony's other plays include "The Princess of America," performed by Darkhorse Dramatists in 2015, and "The True History of the Famous Duel Between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr," performed at the Incarnate Word Academy in 2016.

As a director, Tony seeks to work with playwrights who relish in using heightened language to give immediate urgency to grand philosophical ideas.
