I am a writer and director. My critically acclaimed play WHEN RACHEL MET FIONA premiered at The Space, London in Sept 2021 with a rehearsed reading in The New Theatre New Writing Week 2020. My award-winning zoom adaptation THEN AND NOW is currently touring the international film festival circuit. My play HEAVEN had a rehearsed reading at The Space in 2021. My Fishamble 2020 Tiny Play EVERYONE'S SORRY has had numerous international productions. I co-wrote the award-winning audio crime drama series DEEP SHADOWS for Eclectic Full ContactTheatre Chicago. I wrote one of the award-winning monologues for 25/The Decriminalisation Monologues. My audio plays BLIND DATE and FINGERS CROSSED will be produced by NearFm in 2022. My play FAMILY TREE was long-listed for Papatango’s 2019 New Writing Prize. BLIND DATE was short-listed from RTE’s PJ O’Connor Awards. My plays TENDER MERCIES, BLIND DATE and YES were performed in Smock Alley, Garter Lane and the Dublin Gay Theatre Festival. My short plays have been produced in a variety of fringe theatres in the UK and US.

    Rachel realises too late what she’s lost when she cheats on Fiona.

    Rachel and Fiona are married with three children. Rachel cheats on Fiona and they divorce. Devastated Fiona slowly rebuilds her life. Meanwhile Rachel’s life begins to unravel. With Fiona’s help she starts to get it back on track again. She asks Fiona to give their relationship another chance but Fiona is reluctant to make herself...

    An intense play that digs deep into the characters and their relationship posing a number of important questions. What happens when soulmates screw up? Are some things just not fixable? Can love conquer all?

    The opening and closing scene can be set at Thanksgiving.

    One for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl… me, Mary Fortune and seven for my story that’s going to be told. From the womb to the tomb, through the highs and the lows of a life spiralling out of control, until a broken thing like her is alone. In a searing monologue combining black humour with the raw revelation of pain Mary Fortune tells her story recreating the cast of characters from her life....

    Successful couple Adam and Sara have everything except a baby. Rachel and Fiona each want a baby. Rachel goes first and has twins using donor sperm. When it’s Fiona’s turn she can’t get pregnant so tries IVF. Both couples attended the same fertility clinic where their fertilised eggs were swapped in error with Sara being implanted with Fiona’s and vice versa. Sara miscarries but Fiona becomes pregnant....

In what’s at times a surreal evening the discussion switches from awkward small talk to comedy to dark revelations as long-buried secrets are divulged.
