Leonard Madrid is a New Mexican theatre artist. He has worked as an actor, designer, director, improvisor, and educator in the Albuquerque area for over twenty years. He has been the recipient of the Kennedy Center’s Latinx Playwriting Award three times. Leonard Madrid is a New Mexican theatre artist. He has worked as an actor, designer, director, improvisor, and educator in the Albuquerque area for over twenty years. Most recently, his play Cebollas was featured as part of the Colorado New Play Summit.
