  • The Order (a one minute play)
    6 May. 2020
My absolute favorite 1-minute play of all time. In the course of one minute, you go through the entire lives of this new couple and while it makes you laugh out loud when it first touches the ears, it's also a wonderful piece about life and how quickly it goes and how little we often think (or communicate) about our intentions and actions.
  • Oy Vey Maria (a ten minute play)
    6 May. 2020
What happens when you give birth in a manger and you forget to invite your mother? She makes the birth of Jesus about her, that's what! An imaginative piece that is sure to make you both laugh and shake your head. Brilliant!
  • Smitten (one minute version)
    6 May. 2020
A wild ride that rattles your reality and raises some questions about our relationships with the unknown- all in 1 minute!
  • Tag (one minute version)
    6 May. 2020
A hilarious reminder that obsession often leads to our own downfall. Quick, witty, and lots of fun! It even performs well in a virtual setting!
  • Happy Holidays (or Bust) (10 minute play)
    6 May. 2020
A hilarious twist on the classic holiday card drama. It's quick and witty and then surprises you with a bit of heart and if that is not perfect for the holiday's, I don't know what is! Our theatre company was actually going to produce it in an upcoming festival, but it was unfortunately canceled due to COVID-19. I hope that we are able to produce it another time, as it was a joy to read!
  • My Heart is a Kaleidoscope (Waiting to be Turned) (1 minute play)
    6 May. 2020
This is a wonderful example of how heartstrings can be pulled in 60 seconds. It's well worth the read and it performed wonderfully via Zoom! Great for all!
  • Cranberry
    28 Apr. 2020
To describe this show as sweet feels inherently wrong, yet, it's accurate. It's hilarious and unexpected in all the best ways. You don't need a kink to enjoy this piece that offers variety and fun for our senior actors, whose talents are often overlooked. Read it. Loved it. Hoping I get the chance to see it sooner than later!
  • Aloha Apocalypse (Ten Minute Play)
    27 Apr. 2020
A hilarious show about facing one's own mortality- who would have thought! This is quick, sharp, and invokes such empathy for all sides that it will have you wiping a tear away from your check and then holding your belly laughing the next. A true work of art!
  • The Profession (Full-length play)
    27 Apr. 2020
This is a wonderful character piece that follows to modern-women struggling against a patriarchy centuries old. What will keep you engaged is the quick wit and strength of Valerie and the all to relatable struggles of Marina. This piece pulls no punches when bringing a magnifying glass to the state of our educational institutions today and the sad reality of the hypocrisy in supposed pious institutions. A wonderful play for people who wish to give opportunities to actors to truly lean into some complex and motivated characters.
  • Seneca and the Soul of Nero (Full-length play)
    27 Apr. 2020
I was blessed to be part of the workshopping process and have seen this play grow and become what it is now. Marcia is not only a brilliant story-teller and a true knower of Nero and his countless flaws, but how she presents this age-old tale rings true in so many elements of today's world. This well-crafted tragedy evaluates what it means to be a teacher and examines what responsibilities they have to their students and showcases the struggle of wrestling between our ideals and the willingness to not give up on a student. A fantastic piece!
