Smarty Pants, with Theodore Bartemes, received an award from the Iowa High School Musical Theatre Awards. Bridget’s works have been published by Blackbird, Feels Blind Literary, Apricity, New Plains Review, The Interp Store, Mushroom Cloud Press, Crux Literary Magazine, Theatre Unbound, Ghost Light Lit, and Qu Literary Magazine.
Bridget is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab 2019, Directors Lab North 2022, and the Dramatists Guild. Bridget works in development for Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines, Iowa. She has previously served as the Director of Audience Services and Community Engagement at Maples Repertory Theatre (Macon, MO), Executive Director at the Washington Area Performing Arts Video Archive,Casting Director at We Happy Few Productions, Casting Manager at Spooky Action Theatre, and in various capacities at Ford’s Theatre, the Shakespeare Theatre, Theater J, Imagination Stage, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre.
