  • Bridget Grace Sheaff: The Twelve Dates of Christmas

You should be producing Twelve Dates of Christmas as part of your holiday selections this season. This play is without compare one of my favorite solo shows. Seriously. Do it.

  • Bridget Grace Sheaff: No Spring Chicken

I was lucky enough to see Ginna perform this piece in DC and, let me tell you, I laughed, I cried, I gasped aloud, I swelled with joy and fear and pride. Every second of the piece was genuine and nothing was held back. I'm so glad Ginna let us go on this journey with her.

  • Bridget Grace Sheaff: INNER HARBOR

Gwydion does not back down from the epic nature of piece. In fact, he dives in headfirst. A truly massive undertaking with great payoff.

  • Bridget Grace Sheaff: Hello, My Name Is...

There are few theatre experiences that I remember in full from start to finish. Deb Sivigny's HELLO MY NAME IS... is one of them. Every moment of this play was crafted with immense care and it was a feast for all the senses. Seriously- asking Deb to come and work this instillation into your festival or community will be one of the smartest decisions you ever make.

  • Bridget Grace Sheaff: Forgotten Kingdoms

There's so much love in this play. It vibrates off the page. Truly a stellar script.

  • Bridget Grace Sheaff: Rashomon's Gate

When I saw this play in production, I said out loud that I wanted to learn how to tell stories like Randy Baker. The parallels he draws between the modern day and the mythic world left me stunned and dizzy, in a way that only really great theatre can. A great ensemble piece with magic aplenty for anyone who enters into the world Randy builds.

Kathleen Akerley has done it again with this play. Cerebral. Mysterious. Emphatic. Hilarious. Not a play that is easily forgotten.

  • Bridget Grace Sheaff: Exit Carolyn

EXIT CAROLYN came to me during a time where I didn't know I needed it. The soft nostalgic grief mixed with the side-splitting humor of the play live and breathe off the page, drawing the audience into world that is both familiar and magical. Seeing strong, sharp, flawed young women onstage in a piece like this pulls it close to my heart and, I promise, the heart of anyone who picks it up.

  • Bridget Grace Sheaff: A Moving Picture

I have never stopped thinking about this play. It has changed the way I operate and interact with art, cinema, and stories from the Holocaust. But more than that, it is the hallmark of strong, three-dimensional, flawed characters that the audience roots for from the beginning.
Honestly, any director would be lucky to work with Jennie Eng on this play.

  • Bridget Grace Sheaff: Paper Dream

Lyra Yang handles this story with compassion and fortitude. Visually compelling, carefully curated, it moves like it has an engine- engaging, powerful, and purposeful. A director would and should fall in love with this script.
