This would be hilarious to watch onstage! I imagine the rehearsal process would be quite fun, too.
  • Morning (a five minute, dialogue-free play)

Wonderful take on perhaps one of our most mundane morning rituals. There are so many layers here, beginning with the obvious and moving toward the abstract of an overpopulated chaotic group eventually working together as a unit. This piece would be an extremely fun thing to tackle as a physical actor or choreographer!

A sweet play of remembrance which at first glance seems to be a trip down memory lane between an aged man and his lifelong love and wife who are met with the inevitable as these characters show us what their day truly entails. A heartbreaking but oh so sweet story of life.

The concept of this collection of plays is extremely fun, giving the audience that “fly on the wall” experience. I love the awkward encounter between two people who naive to the world of hooking up online. The characters are endearing, giving us laugh after laugh while they are mortified in their newly discovered social situation.

Martin holds nothing back, and it works wonders in this satirical short play, disecting current human nature with humor, placing us all under a magnifying glass. As the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, White Noise reflects our current tumultuous America, in a swift comedic manner. This would be a wonderful short play to stage!
  • JOCELYN: A CHRISTMAS MONOLOGUE
    1 Jun. 2019
This monologue offers a beautiful opportunity for an actor to balance hope with reality in this woman’s situation. Highlighting subtlety the generosity of others during the holiday season. She knows that once the new year comes and the long, midwestern winter sets in, the generosity of others may not be there as it was at Christmas time. A heartwarming yet heartbreaking character, I recommend this monologue to any woman who wants to explore struggle, tenderness, putting on a brave face, and hope, all in one powerful maternal monologue.
