A Narrator tells the story of his first love story through the use of the old, hand-written notes that he and his girlfriend used to write back and forth to one another. Through the reading of the many notes, Matty & Mae discover love, experience the palpable joy of obsessive infatuation, they argue and fight, share a first kiss and some terribly embarrassing dancing, they break up and they get back together. All the while they forge an unbreakable friendship.

When Matty discovers Mae has leukemia, Mae teaches Matty a lesson he'll carry with him for the rest of his life: how to deal with the death of a loved one and eventually love again.

The Narrator assures us that even young love can be powerful and meaningful. Time is not promised to any of us and everything in life is fleeting; except love.

Set in the early days of World War II and inspired by a true story, Glory and Honor tells the all-but-forgotten story of Michal Dominski, a Polish runner and Olympic gold-medal winner interned at a Nazi POW camp in the heart of Germany.

There, Michal works diligently to ensure the safety and comfort of his fellow prisoners - several of whom are also former Olympians - even making bargains with camp guards for small luxuries like soap and cigarettes. When the iron-fisted Commandant implements an increasingly harsh and spirit-crushing regimen on the prisoners, they struggle to hold on to their last remnants of hope.

The tragic death of a friend prompts Michal to attempt to restore that hope by holding an Olympic competition - in secret - among the imprisoned athletes complete with Opening Ceremonies and awarding the winners with makeshift paper medals.

Unfortunately, Michal’s escapade is threatened when the Commandant catches wind of their competition and sends the head guard Major Faust to stop them. Now with the games in jeopardy and their lives on the line, Michal and his fellow POWs must outwit the Commandant and Faust and continue forth with the games...or stand to lose all sense of honor and pride.

Thankfully, the POWs see through with the completion of the games. But after being betrayed by a fellow prisoner Michal is charged with inciting rebellion. And while Michal is tragically led to his potential death, he does so knowing that the essential aspect of life is not conquering, but fighting well.
