Jaclyn Enchin (pictured left) is a playwright, lyricist, choreographer, and aspiring screenwriter from Toronto, Canada. Jaclyn Enchin (pictured left) is a playwright, lyricist, choreographer, and aspiring screenwriter from Toronto, Canada. Most recently, her play Bread placed 2nd in Toronto Fringe’s Best New Play Contest 2023, was produced in Washington D.C. by Spooky Action Theater as part of their New Works in Action Series as well as a staged reading at the Page to Stage Festival at the Kennedy Center. She also wrote the book and additional lyrics for The Beaver Den (The LOT, Korda Theatre, Winnipeg Fringe Festival), a musical comedy that placed in Toronto Fringe’s Top Ten Best New Play Contest and won an honorary Jenny Award. She also wrote the book and lyrics for a Christmas-themed musical, The Land of Forgotten Toys, which was produced by C.P.A. Theatricals in Chicago and was presented as a staged reading at the Florida Festival of New Musicals 2019.

  • BREAD
    A young Apprentice working in a bakery in 1940's France is given a gift by a kleptomaniac girl which happens to be the original Mona Lisa painting. Hilarity ensues as the Apprentice tries to avoid his inevitable fate by using clumsy and impulsive tactics to get rid of the thing. With a top class Inspector and a blabbermouth mime on the case there's no telling how the crime of the century will be brought to justice.
