  • Are You Comfortable?
    8 Jan. 2019
ARE YOU COMFORTABLE? is a shocking and moving piece of work that stands on its own, but the meaning is doubled once you discover that this isn't a work of fiction.
  • Good Guy with a Gun
    8 Jan. 2019
This play is hilarious and horrifying at the same time. You probably know each of these characters in your lives and it's scary as hell. This witty play uses the gameshow to its advantage and keeps things remarkably light while exploring dark, relevant themes.
  • WHAT WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR
    8 Jan. 2019
So often the activists are portrayed with such anger and venom, but it's refreshing to here the hope in this, while passionate and bold, the hope cuts through everything, like I think it truly does for most people out to make a true difference. A strong monologue that *finally* rounds out the character of 'activist' we've seen so many times before.
  • The Boy Who Drew Cats
    31 Dec. 2018
An excellent adaptation of a story I had never heard before. Short and sweet, a great first role for a budding young actor.
  • The Edge of a Disappearing Thing
    28 Dec. 2018
Chelsea Sutton writes so beautifully and this piece is no exception. An exploration of the things we imagine saying to each other when the end is near, and closure that never comes. Someone produce this!
  • Talking to Myself
    26 Dec. 2018
This fantasy of nostalgia allows us to wander around in the mind of someone asking the same questions we are: 'Will I be happy?'
  • The Bookstore
    21 Dec. 2018
This is a lighthearted, fun little play with a bittersweet ending. This would make a nice addition to a short play festival and appeal to all audience ages.
  • Absolutely Somewhere
    21 Dec. 2018
I love this play. 'ABSOLUTELY SOMEWHERE' achieves that amazing balance of a stream of disconnected people with those tiny threads of connection that exist between everyone and affect us all.
  • BICYCLE BUILT FOR TWO
    20 Dec. 2018
I had the pleasure of directing this play as part of Cold Comfort Theater's One Act Play Festival in Maine in 2018 and savored the depth of story each character was given in such a short piece. One acts often struggle to give actors enough meat to build a person with, but 'BICYCLE BUILT FOR TWO' does this beautifully and harrowingly.
  • Take the Long Way Home
    20 Dec. 2018
'TAKE THE LONG WAY HOME' is such an honest portrayal of the diversity of emotions people can have around the death of a loved one, and how it can bring out the best and worst of ourselves. Tripaldi does a great job exploring the complexities of grief in such a short amount of time.
