Plays

  • Stabbed in the Backwards
The butler sits at a table playing chess. Around him, a billionaire and his guests lie dead. But what happened? Wouldn't you like to know!
  • Puddle Jumpers
TEN MINUTE MUSICAL: Three very different teenage girls get caught in the rain at a bus stop under one umbrella. Can they make the best of the situation, or will their bickering leave them all wet? Fun, energetic songs include Share Your Umbrella, Stuck With You, and Jump In a Puddle.
  • Swan Pond
Odette and Odile are twin sisters who couldn’t be more different. When their wizard father accidentally casts a curse that changes them into birds, the girls and their dad must find a way to reverse the spell before they are stuck that way forever. Inspired by Swan Lake, this silly yet heart-felt play for young audiences shows the importance of kindness and the meaning of true love.
  • Rent-A-Stiff
Mr. Ut, the proprietor of a human taxidermy rental company, is at risk of losing his livelihood due to aging inventory and new competition. But, he makes shocking discovery that just might save his business. This macabre comedy is well-suited for themed evenings of short plays for Halloween, horror, or simply the strange and unusual.

  • Moonbow Bride
TEN MINUTE PLAY: Greg sits on the edge of a cliff overlooking Cumberland Falls. He considers jumping. Marisa arrives but doesn't try to stop him. They each have their reasons to be there, but will either one leave there alive? Inspired by a Kentucky ghost story.
  • Second Story Jobs
TEN MINUTE PLAY: After falling in the bathroom and losing a tooth, Huey puts it under his pillow. He didn’t really expect anyone to show up, especially not her. 2 onstage roles. 1 voice over (can be live or pre-recorded).
  • Day Four
TWO MINUTE PLAY: Just a lark. It really happened, so I wrote a play about it. A guy (me) is attempting to participate in the 31 Plays in 31 Days challenge, and he forgets to write a play on day four.
