Cherielyn Ferguson is a San Francisco Bay Area playwright. Her work has been featured in productions and readings at theatres throughout the U. S. at the Pear Theatre, Playwrights’ Roundtable, Queens Short Play Festival, Fusion Theatre, Quannapowitt Players, Salem State University, Monster Box Theatre, Pegasus Theater of Sonoma, Adams State University, Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre, Pan Theater, The Storefront Theatre, Chameleon Theatre Circle, and Shawnee Playhouse, and PlayGround – SF, among others. The U. K.’s Lantern Players and Australia’s Gemco Players have also presented her work.

Cherielyn holds a BA in theatre arts from Santa Clara University and has studied at American Conservatory Theatre, HB Studio, Pittsburgh Playhouse, Berkeley Repertory’s School of Theatre, and the Dramatists Guild Institute, where she completed the Certificate in Dramatic Writing program.
She’s a member of the Dramatists Guild, the Playwrights’ Center, Theatre Bay Area, Pear Playwrights Guild, and Play Café of Berkeley. Cherielyn participated in the Kennedy Center Playwriting Intensive and is a past member of the PlayGround-SF writers pool.
