  • SQUiD PLAY PLAY

This is a romp to read and would be a hoot to see live. Philip captures a very specific essence of self reflection while also talking about squids that brings my heart to my soul to my brain to those around me. Very beautiful language and very heartwarming in a weird way. Love when science is used in theatre and this play engages in just that. Big applause for this one

This play threw me for a loop so big I needed at least 3-5 business days to recover. It deep dives into addiction and the recovery of it in a way that captures the humanely inhuman experience. Sean has a wonderful way with creating characters from nothing but symbols and concepts. A wonderful read and ride from start to finish

I have been given the wonderful opportunity to see this play thru it’s entire development as the role of Guillaume. Daniel crafts a wonderful experience through time and space. Full of history, drama, and good times. Good Heavens! captures a wonder for the cosmos and the truth. Great for all ages and has opportunity for inclusive casting all across the board.

Very well written and joyful story that takes the reader and audience on a historical journey. I learned a lot, I smiled, and I felt empowered. A great read and script to be performed.

the language and beauty and comedy in this script is poetic. Finocchiaro captures a feeling of grief from multiple perspectives in such a way that illuminates humanity. The gritty and raw aspect of it all, truly astounding. Each character is flawed and perfect at the same time. Truly a top script in my book.

Stevens really captures the beauty and terror in the concept of isolation. His use of language and silence is amazing to experience. I was lucky enough to see a reading of this at KCACTF Region 7 Festival 52. Stevens does a phenomenal job of incorporating science and theatre. Worth the read!

This play is absolutely amazing. Each character is so distinct and full of life. A great play to read to see how monologues are structured and are able to tell quick and interesting stories. I love it!

I have never been more in love with a play. The way Mesri leads you on a journey and uses language to tell multiple stories at once. Every bit of this play is gorgeous. Each character is so well fleshed out and goes on a full adventure. Some plays are great to listen to, some are great to read. This is both. Read this play

A really cute and well-told story about what the younger generation can do about the changing climate. Great characters and phenomenal storytelling. Idaszak does good work with theatre for young audiences.

Pitts did that. She can write some great stories. She creates a world of wonder and weakness with these stunning characters. I am infatuated with her use of language and love. Nothing is given easily in this script it is ripped out of the characters after days of suffering but goddamn this script is amazing
