  • Debra A. Cole: 1900s Women Bonding

The sea sounds lovely as does the tea.... That is my new answer after recent choices our brave men have made for us. Thank you, Catherine for helping us see the way to happiness.

  • Debra A. Cole: Boardwalk Concessions

SICKELES is truly a rockstar playwright. His piece Boardwalk Concessions has everything: rage, indignation, fading patience, honesty, and grease... glorious, glorious grease. A simple moment on the boardwalk allows two characters to shine equally. BRAVO!

  • Debra A. Cole: 1-800-GUILTY AF

Dark and twisted - The American justice system's own infomercial! A great piece for a talented duo.

  • Debra A. Cole: Fake News?

Rachel has done it again. All the rage and trauma that many of us feel, she written the perfect scene to express all of it. This TIMELY piece is a must read.

  • Debra A. Cole: Are You Comfortable?

The tension in this short piece is palpable. Not knowing the situation adds to the anxiety felt by the audience. The dialogue is targeted and slices into the unknown. I am left wanting to know and not wanting to know the situation all at the same time.

  • Debra A. Cole: Phony on a Twig

I adore this delightful short play. McGregor is a master of creating character, whether human or not, and sucking the audience into the drama at hand. BRAVO!

  • Debra A. Cole: My Friend

Creepy...relatable....and just plain messed up,Rachel Feeny-Williams has done it again! I had the pleasure of hearing this as a part of the Sunday Literary & Discourse Society gathering. Feeny-Williams has such an effortless way of creating tension and the right amount of anxiety is a short piece. Audiences will adore this creative piece.

  • Debra A. Cole: Meet My Boyfriend

What a pleasure it was to experience this short play at the Sunday Literary & Discourse Society gathering. Difference religion, different race, or different species, fathers sadly do not accept their daughters choice in a partner sometimes. This creative piece speaks to differences and the prejudices that come as part of the family package.

  • Debra A. Cole: After Happily Ever After

Princess is a hero to us all - just a girl doing her job with confidence and realistic expectations. Rachel has done it again with clever dialogue, real emotions, and fully realized characters - all in just five minutes!

  • Debra A. Cole: There Are No Closets in My Classroom

As a retired teacher who had kids come out to her every year, not like Luca, but beautifully none the less, this touched home. We live in a time that seems to be marching forward for our youth, and backward for so many others. I miss the classroom, not for the subject matter I taught, but for the ideas, compassion, and critical thinking the curriculum provided. Thank you, Nora, for giving a voice to so many frustrated teachers.
