CORA is the friend we all need in times of crisis. Ella wanted love, but maybe missed the signs that THIS was the wrong one. It took CORA to bring her back to reality. CRISIS ON A BENCH by MARJ O'NEILL -BUTLER created a empowering two-hander for two women to bring to life.

As a former resident of the great state of Texas, I can feel that BLUEBONNETS is a true Texas love story. Not a love story between two tragically parted paramours, but a love story between father and daughter and a love that "ended" too soon. The most touching moments include Dad calling her June Bug - so natural and tender. CURTIS BARBER not only allows us a glimpse into the past but a glimmer of hope for the future. JUST LOVELY.

What a gorgeous and artful memory play by BRUCE KARP. The numerous layers are colorful and personal as Larry Kappeloff takes us on the journey that is his life of discovery and truth. Without giving it away, I found myself destroyed by the all too real human result of a beautiful life finally found and acknowledged. JUST LOVELY.

Absolutely chilling. There is so much more to this one minute than the printed dialogue alone can share. Two seasoned actors would devour this minute and leave the audience terrorized.

ABSOLUTELY devastating, powerful, and inspirational. If only all of us could be as brave as those who fight for the rights of others over their own self interests. I leave this poignant short play wanting to know more, and that is highest regard I can imagine for a playwright. BRAVO, John Mabey.

Wow! So much subtext beautifully integrated into this powerful short play by IVAN FAUTE. Families are complicated, and families of worshipped authors are rumored to be even more so. The banter between two of the three siblings is natural, witty, and absolutely human. Will they? Won't they? It doesn't matter. Whatever the answer, they will face it like they always have... without him.

As a former educator, I know Tim. I've taught so many amazing Tims. A beautiful and loving Tim like this one is exactly what Leigh needed at this raw moment to find the order, reasurance, and dignity for which she was searching. The humor is well timed. The emotions are natural. The humanity is real. WONDERFUL!

Father/Child relationships can be tough, especially when things are unsaid, undone, and unrealized. This this short play by ZACK PEERCY shares the moments when an entire life's worth comes down do a single box. The flexibility of gender casting adds beautiful possible layers to an already poignant reminder that every moment counts.

RELATABLE AND SURPRISING... This witty and pointed short piece by TOM CAVANAUGH had me rooting for Amanda and ultimately connecting with Kit. In our diet obsessed world, I'M FAT is a true breath of fresh air that will connect with anyone who has experienced body shaming.

Hilarious! A playwright will find his/her/their muse anywhere it presents itself...and in this delightful short play by ELENA NASKOVA, a muse comes in the way of a sugar momma who knows exactly what she wants. Sadly, this playwright knows what he needs and wants too... and these varied desires do not connect.
