    Helen, an astronomer, has discovered an asteroid will hit the earth in six months. As chaos is about to envelope the world, Helen arrives very late on a Saturday night at her ex-husband David’s house. David, chair of his university’s English department, has just concluded a dinner with his faculty. “Come with me to Chile,” Helen says. “We’re old, our careers nearly over, let’s spend our last days figuring out what happened to us.” Before David can answer, Sarah, an assistant professor in David’s department, returns to the house to make her own request of David. This play is a full-length based on my short play Genesis.
