  • Smartly concise, with good use of details. Rachel and Neil's respective wants are quick to grasp and deeply relatable. A compelling reflection on relationships, on routine, and on moving on.

  • An incredibly poignant and tightly written play. Terrifying in some moments and heartbreaking in others. The reveal at the end is deftly paced to draw out that perfect line of dread. Especially impressive is how well the worldbuilding is established in such a short timeframe.

  • I saw this play as it kicked off the 2025 Boston Theater Marathon, and my god, this is such a funny play. It feels like a beautiful collision of a modern play about grief and a classic vaudeville sketch, and Meade has handled every element of that confusing mixture with incredible deftness. So much fun.

  • I saw this play as part of the 2025 Boston Theater Marathon, and I thought it was absolutely delightful. I enjoyed how much more dynamic and textured the play feels with the inclusion of the inner voices beyond Julie and Matt, and how grounded and relatable the depicted experience felt. What a fun and charming play.

  • A creepy and well-executed adaptation of a lesser-known classic ghost story. Expertly paced and with great use of Foley, especially at the climax.

A stunning adaptation of Central American folklore, chilling yet cathartic. Builds astonishingly deep characters and superb atmosphere in a tight timeframe.
