Perry Guzzi has studied with playwrights Julie McKee, Laura Maria Censabella, Stuart Spencer and Tina Howe. Perry Guzzi has studied with playwrights Julie McKee, Laura Maria Censabella, Stuart Spencer and Tina Howe. Perry’s full-length plays, YOU CAN’T PLAY BARBIES WHEN SOMEONE HAS STOLEN THEIR HEADS, BEACH TRIP and ACROSS THE WAY, received lab productions at HB Studio. ACROSS THE WAY was also the recipient of the 2016 Thomas Barbour Award. His short plays OUAGADOUGOU and LOS DEMÁS were both selected for Samuel French OOB Short Play Festivals. LOS DEMÁS, as well as his short plays, SOCIAL, CLOSING TIME, RUPTURE, and AN ANGRY HEART have all been featured in short play festivals.

Perry graduated with a BFA from Baylor University and an MFA in acting from Mason Gross School of the Arts. He is an active member of Dramatists Guild of America.
